Cheerleading

Hudson's Bay cheerleaders are a vital part of the Eagle spirit at Bay. The squads are chosen in the spring prior to the next school year and is open to all grades. They commit to a season or a full year of cheering for football/volleyball (in fall), and boys' and girls' basketball/wrestling (in winter). A mandatory summer camp is held in different locations each year for all varsity squad members. Varsity cheerleaders help plan and carry out pep assemblies along with the help of ASB.

Varsity team is open to sophomores, juniors and seniors only. Junior Varsity is open to freshman, sophomores and juniors only. C-Team (freshmen) is open to freshman only. Tryouts are held in the spring, same time as varsity tryouts. All squads cheer at most games and sporting events and get ready for the year by having open gyms during the summer.
Lastly, all squads are expected to attend competitions throughout the year and help in fund-raising efforts by selling cookie dough, working concessions, and helping to run Jr. Cheer Camps.
