Mock Trial

Mock Trial is a unique blend of law, debate, and drama in which students learn about current issues and court procedures while sharpening their critical thinking and public speaking skills. 

Each mock trial team has a prosecution and a defense squad.  Each squad has three attorneys and four witnesses.  The Mock Trial team prepares a case written by judges and attorneys based on current court cases.  The team then competes against other schools which have prepared the same case.  Bay's defense faces the opposing team's prosecution and Bay's prosecution faces the other team's defense attempting to score points to continue to State competition.
