GRADS-Teen Parent Program
- The Vancouver School District GRADS-Teen Parent Program is developed for any pregnant or parenting high school student.
- The objectives of the program are to help students remain in school and graduate, while delaying subsequent pregnancies and developing skills for effective parenting and future success.
Program Provides:
*Licensed child care for ages 4 weeks – 3.5 years taught by Early Childhood Education Specialist
*Bus transportation for student and child
*Parenting and child development classes
*Home tutoring available after childbirth
*Case Management links teens to community resources
*Maternity Support Services
*Prenatal education
*Career Counseling for postgraduate plans
*Place to connect with other teen parents
