When teen parents stay in school, families benefit
The GRADS teen parent program was developed for any pregnant or parenting high school student in Vancouver Public Schools. The objectives of the program are to help students remain in school and graduate, while delaying subsequent pregnancies and developing skills for effective parenting and future success. Program requirements include student participation in the child development center and parenting class.
